This week brings us major changes to the BC2 division. xxxASSASSINxxx will be taking a leave of absence, and Conman will be replacing him as the BC2 Pres.  Both of these men are of the highest caliber individuals and have contributed greatly to our gaming community.  I know that Tony and Silence wants to say a few things about both of these guys so I will leave the rest to them.

There are exciting things on the horizon.  There will lots of special events and weekly competitions planned to run in cooperation between BC2 and 2142.  FAV to Quad Races, Tank Wars to Northern Strike, and soon we hope to start some scrimmages and revitalize training.  In addition to weekly events we will be celebrating the Clans Birthday soon.  Killzone has already begun to plan the schedule with Tony and assemble a celebration team, as well taking many suggestions for events and prizes.  This will be an incredibly unique event.  This is your chance to make your indelible mark on the continuing =West Coast Killaz= story.

To assist with the weekly events contact a division leader of the division you wish to assist.  2142 Division: Snip1Dogpound. Stormygrl, or McTruck.  BC2 Division Conman, Wofguy, or Despyria.

Tonyp is asking all division presidents to submit a list of members to be

considered for a special rank up by Himself,Psilence,Divedog101,and division presidents.

This list will be kept secret and all members who deserve it will be annouced at the clan anniversary

in  Oct,  and I'm not talking about one rank there could be some major ranks changes here.

Some ways to get yourself ranked up are as follows:

If you post in the shout box you get points that are tracked by the website,

and the same with every post or poll or anyhing on the web site.

At the resurrection of the Sunday edition is a call to action.  There has been interest in competition play.  Now if we are going to play competitive leagues or even just inter-clan play it has to be sanctioned and organized.  If you are interested competition play, don't try to get your own competition going, and don't wait around for something to happen either.  Go to a Division Leader (Snip1dogpound and/or Stormygrl for 2142: xxxASSASSINxxx and/or Wofguy for BC2) and find out whom their Competition Coordinator is to express your interest and how involved you want to and/or can be.  It's time to take the bull by the horns and show what you can do to make this the best Gaming Community we can be.

That said, lets also support other projects we have going on.  Everything from planned weekly competitions to the extra stuff like the radio station, facebook, and other such endeavors that could use your help. We can all make this a better community by being involved.

Last let us put this to rest.  We don't want to start hysteria that makes people see cheaters around every corner.  People start thinking that the hackers will always win.  That is just not true.  Punkbuster has been doing a phenomenal job with BC2 and our admins are conscientious and on the ball keeping our servers a great place to play.  You can't look at K/DR and make snap judgments.  Our admins do exhaustive work and agonize over decisions when looking to see if people might or might not be playing fair.  So let us all keep the hacker talk to a minimum.
